Netrust Certificate Retrieval Homepage
Welcome to Netrust Certificate Retrieval Homepage. By now, you would have received the Reference Number and Authorisation Code from your Netrust administrator. The following instructions will advise you on how to retrieve your digital certificates.


Browser Certificate Retrieval
(For Personal / Corporate Certificate Applicants)

Retrieving a user certificate will allow you to gain secure access to Web sites by permitting Web servers to determine that you can be trusted with information available on their sites.

If you select this option, you will be asked to provide the reference number and the authorization code that was given to you in a secure manner by your Netrust administrator. Your request will be sent to the Certification Authority. If your request is approved, your certificate will be imported directly into your Web browser. If you are storing your Netrust Digital ID onto your smartcard, please ensure that your smartcard reader is properly installed before you proceed.


Retrieve the CA certificate for your Web browser

Retrieving the Certification Authority (CA) certificate for your Web browser will allow you to verify that a Web site that you are visiting is considered trustworthy and secure. With this CA certificate, your browser will automatically trust all certificates signed by this Certification Authority.

If you select this option, you will be asked if you want to accept the Certification Authority's certificate for your Web browser. By accepting the CA certificate, it will be imported directly to your Web browser.


Server Certificate Retrieval (with Certificate Signing Request)
(For Server Certificate Applicants)

If you select this option, you will be asked to provide a reference number, authorization code, and a server certificate request. Your request will be sent to the Certification Authority. If your request is approved, your server certificate will be displayed in PEM encoding to facilitate the installation of the certificate into your Web server.


Server Certificate Retrieval (without Certificate Signing Request)
(For Server Certificate Applicants)

If you select this option, you will be asked to provide the reference number and the authorization code that was given to you in a secure manner by your Netrust administrator. Your request will be sent to the Certification Authority. If your request is approved, your server certificate will be imported directly into your Web browser.


Retrieve the CA certificate for your Web server
(For Server Certificate Applicants)

Select this option if you want to retrieve the Certification Authority's certificate for your Web server. The CA certificate will be displayed in PEM encoding to facilitate the installation of the certificate into your Web server. If you install the CA certificate, your Web server will automatically trust all certificates signed by this Certification Authority.
